I promise I’ll lay off the JLO posts for a while after this one… okay, so I’ll try. But how could one not talk about estas fotitos? They’re for an upcoming issue of Vogue and feature Ms. Jennifer Lopez herself – did I mention she was also honored as No. 1 on The Celebrity 100 by Forbes – in a bathing suit and a bikini. ¡Muy Caliente!
Yup, I’d say it’s safe to say this is the year of La Lopez! See More

¡Uyy! It takes a lot to get a only a one word response out of me. Usually when something ignites or inspires me in any way I can go and on forever, but this time this album really takes the cake. Turns out the Mexican comedian known as El Norteño – yeah I don’t know who he is either – has recently launched a new music album in response to all those “men-hating” musical compilations put together by the likes of Paquita La Del Barrio over the years titled, quite simply really, Los Machocorridos! Here it is. ¡No me peguen please! I wasn’t really planning on posting about William Levy’s debut on Dancing With The Stars, last night, but so many of you have been making the request that… well, here are the pictures of the Cuban born “Latin hottie” prepping and dancing his first Cha Cha Cha for ABC. Apparently he was a big hit as he was blowing up my social media streams last night. And if you didn’t get a chance to watch William’s first dance, you can catch him on the show again tonight at 9|8c. Dancing With The Stars airs weekly on Mondays at 8|7c and Tuesdays at 9|8c. The other day I wrote about how seemingly times are a changing for Latinos in the entertainment industry. At least to me, it seems more opportunities could be on the horizon. Not only for the artists at the forefront of these changes, but also for the millions of us who have been asking for more adequate representation of ourselves and our cultura in the mainstream media for years. If in fact we are at the cusp of a new era for Latino entertainment and Latinos in entertainment, then these 10 artists are definitely among the many who have been paving the way for these changes. First it was Jennifer Lopez on American Idol, then Christina Aguilera on The Voice. Now, just as both Univision and FOX are airing the same first-of-its-kind bilingual show,Q’Viva The Chosen, ABC is incorporating Cuban heartthrob William Levy into their hit show Dancing With The Stars, and Telemundo is producing more Spanglish programing than ever (the list goes on, but in the interest of brevity will stick to these examples for now), Comcast has decided to jump on the Latino-oriented entertainment bandwagon by introducing their own all Latino cable channel as well… Read More
From dozens of hopefuls, People En Español has now narrowed it down to five bellosfor us to choose from. Three Latinas and two Latinos from across the states – sadly none from Texas this year – are the finalists hoping to captivate you with their inner and outer beauty, earn your votes and walk away with the title of 51 Más Bello… as well as with a total makeover, a trip to New York City, their own spread in People En Español’s 50 Most Beautiful People edition, and a $5,000 payday!
Not too shabby, eh? Read More

He used to annoy the living crap out of me. What would possess anyone to watch this guy? He doesn’t even talk! That was my main reason for disliking Mr. Bean so much. He made stupid faces and acted like an idiot. Was he supposed to be an alien or something? I never watched enough of the show to find out. Instead I’d say “ugh, that stupid Mr. Bean is on. Change it!”
Only recently have I begun to really appreciate the artistry of what Mr. Bean was all about. Yes, I said artistry! Read More
